This is an original artwork from the same series as the originals featured in Karlie & Will's second Guest Bedroom in The Block 2016.

"The Ripple of Her Voice III" is an original painting by Larissa Lea. This piece will be enhanced when displayed with "The Ripple of Her Voice I" and "The Ripple of Her Voice II".

The Artist's process is a complete state of mental and emotional freedom where she is able to disconnect with the environment around her and the stresses it may carry and instead become fully enthralled with the interlacing fusion of the colours of the paints that intertwine and become inseparable yet do not quite mix. The designs are formed through the placement and directed movement of the paint being applied both by brush and the use of tilting and gravity.

The artist uses mixed media paints in a liquid 2 part epoxy resin giving the artwork a glass-like, yet slightly textured finish. She uses both translucent and opaque colours to give the artwork depth.

Resin and mixed media on timber art board. The edging is finished in a handpainted warm gold trim, artwork signed and prepared for hanging.
